Graduated from Shelbyville Central High School in 1986, The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL, in 1990 (B.S., Accounting), and The University of Alabama School of Law in 1993 (J.D.).
Admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1993, Admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Tennessee. Member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Bedford County Bar Association.
Attorney for the Town of Wartrace, TN. Member of the Tennessee Bar Association House of Delegates for the 17th Judicial District.
Married to John Christopher Shofner, Jr. and has one daughter Member of First Presbyterian Church.
