Donna Orr Hargrove.

Donna Orr Hargrove is a graduate of David Lipscomb University and the Nashville

 

School of Law.  She was elected Public Defender for the 17th Judicial District in 1998 and had been employed as an assistant Public Defender since 1992. Donna Orr Hargrove is married with two children and makes her home in Marshall County, Tennessee.

The 17th Judicial District is composed of Bedford, Lincoln, Marshall, and Moore Counties. Mrs. Hargrove maintains offices in three of those counties.

The Public Defenders Office is given the responsibility to provide legal representation to criminal defendants that are found by the Court to be indigent and unable to hire an attorney. Donna Orr Hargrove accomplishes this task with a staff of three Assistant Public Defenders, two Legal Secretaries, and two District Investigators.
