Voters Registration
To vote in an election you must be registered. Registration ends 30 days prior to any election. To register you must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of Tennessee and Bedford County, 18 on or before the next election, and never been convicted of a felony or have had your rights restored as required by law.
To register come by our office, or for your convenience you can print out the form from the internet and mail it to our office. The website is http://www.state.tn.us/sos/election/registration.htm. If you live in the county and own property in the cities of Bell Buckle, Shelbyville or Wartrace you may be able to register under property rights. This must be done 30 days prior to any of the above city elections. Please contact our office for more information.
