The Office of Information Technology (IT) is responsible for managing and maintaining the County's computer technology functions, including Networking, Application development, Technology purchasing, Audio & Video telephony network, GIS & Mapping, web site development and maintenance, and attempt to standardize the implementation, operation, and servicing of all of technical/electronic systems in the majority of the Counties various departments.
The IT department operates from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our new office location is 200 Dover Street inside the Bedford Co. Office Complex behind the old Bedford County Hospital.
The four functional divisions that comprise the Department are:
- Technology Administration

IT is responsible for supporting the technology needs of all appointed and elected offices, other than County Schools.
